Born in Dublin, Ireland, John Michael has performed since the age of four at many venues and festivals from California to Ireland. He is an extremely versatile vocalist and performer of many genres and styles of music including rock, R&B, blues, funk, Celtic, Sinatra and Opera.

An offshoot of Santa Cruz's iconic rock band Snail, the Messiah's original melodies and hot guitar riff; Ken Kraft, Craig Owens and Bob O'Neill are the Messiahs. They play acoustic guitars and sing originals, covers and There are a few originals, but they are mostly covers of songs that they “Snail-ize.”
