Anna Fletcher will be sharing her artwork on First Friday in Capitola.

“I specialize in portraits, but wanted to challenge myself to be
more free with my art. I was gifted a textured watercolor
notebook and decided it was a perfect way to experiment with
landscapes. I was finally going to let loose and just have fun with it.
I liked the idea of vibrant colors and muted ones, so I first placed down the high flow acrylic of pinks, yellows and oranges. From there I used a mix of watercolor and gouache, while letting the acrylic peek through. I finished my first piece and I was hooked. Soon I began to fill the pages with landscapes
I captured around Santa Cruz County, along with a few other
places I traveled to. ” ~ Anna Fletcher

Our evening is made complete with Live Music with Simon Santiago. Art Reception is 5-7 music is from 6-9.
