Overview

I started Playdate after having one heck of a time finding a wedding dress, and having to order multiple dresses online—sight unseen—to find the right fit for my special day.

Being a single mom and public school teacher at the time of my wedding, I also wanted to find the most affordable, sustainable, and overall responsible way to celebrate.

Now, I am offering dresses like mine—rare, high-quality, long-lasting, and fun—to brides and event-goers who want to make the most of their special days.

I am also sourcing the cutest vintage children's clothes to make available for those seeking sustainable and affordable alternatives for dressing their minis.

I would love to share my collections with you via our online shop, swap stories with you on a “playdate” (try-on sesh by appointment), and/or guide the adventure of vintage shopping with you and finding your dream dress(es). Please don’t hesitate to reach out!

Schedule an in-person private shopping experience at our beachside vintage bridal boutique. We have plenty of space for you and your crew to come sip, shop, and celebrate!

 

BRIDAL

Vintage bridal gowns and sets from c. 1930s ("true vintage") to early 2000s ("new vintage" and "Y2K"). We source dresses that are in excellent condition, and clean or make small repairs as needed, before listing. Our curated collection features vintage designer gowns, funky sets and singles, and dreamy pieces from across the ages.

Our mission is to bring new life to pre-owned bridal wear in an effort to promote sustainability in the wedding and fashion industries. Our dresses are typically competitively priced at well-below the average wedding gown range; many are under $500.

We also offer rental on some of our dresses (please inquire by email/contact form).
