A Legacy Rooted In Capitola
The name “Armida” holds significant meaning, paying homage to the matriarch of the family that originally founded the property in Healdsburg nearly 40 years ago. This name carries with it a legacy of quality and tradition, which is reflected in every bottle of wine produced.
Armida has been a staple in Capitola for over 25 years, and its roots run deep. The winery’s journey began when the proprietor, who owned a vacation home in the Village, saw an opportunity. “Our current location became available, so we applied for a second license. We got it, and here we are—25+ years later!” Christopher reminisces. The longevity of Armida’s presence in Capitola speaks volumes about its enduring appeal and the strong ties it has cultivated within the community.
