Begonia Festival Commemorative Public Art Dedication

The event begins at the Community Room, then attendees are encouraged to take a stroll to the sculpture site at the corner of Wharf Rd & Stockton Ave after the dedication. 

The schedule of events is:

3:00-3:15 pm – A Historical Overview, Capitola Museum’s Deborah Osterberg 

3:15-3:30 – The Begonia Festival Community Impact, Festival Leader Nels Westman 

3:30-3:35 – Maintaining Tradition withthe Beach Festival, Beach Festival President Mary Beth Cahalen

3:35-3:50 – Begonia Festival Commemorative video  

4:00 Walk to Sculpture Site

4:30-ish Mayor’s comments and “Flip the Switch” on the Sculpture Lighting

5:00 Dedication ends
